Introduction: These terms of use apply to the Virtual Jesus app ( owned by AllStars Productions LLC), including all features and services offered through the app (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these terms and all other terms incorporated by reference. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

Virtual Jesus, and more specifically, the AskJesus feature provided by Virtual Jesus, makes use of AI to generate answers to questions presented to it. The AI makes use of accumulated public knowledge that is available online pertaining to Jesus’ words, the Bible, any commentaries around the Holy Bible.

Disclaimer: The answers you obtain from the AI might not always 100% agree with what we believe in or what you believe in. In that event, please feel free to continue your conversations with the moderators on the community tab. Moderators hold on to similar biblical view points as described under the moderator’s agreement page, and they would be able to give you a fuller human answer to your questions based on their interpretation and understanding of who Jesus is, and the bible.

Use of Service: You may use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You agree not to use the Service: 

In any way that violates any applicable federal, state, local, or international law or regulation. To transmit, store, display, distribute or otherwise make available content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable. 

To engage in any other conduct that restricts or inhibits anyone's use or enjoyment of the Service, or which, as determined by Virtual Jesus, may harm Virtual Jesus or users of the Service or expose them to liability.

User Content: The Service may allow you to submit and to make available content, including but not limited to text, photographs, and videos (“User Content”) in the community channel. You retain all rights in, and are solely responsible for, the User Content you make available through the Service. If the user content is deemed not appropriate by the moderators, then the content may be removed or the user may be removed from the Virtual Jesus community chat.

Virtual Jesus Proprietary Rights: The Service and its entire contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement thereof), are owned by Virtual Jesus, its licensors, or other providers of such material (like Youversion, Youtube etc) and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws. These terms permit you to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use only.

Disclaimer of Warranties: The Service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation any warranty for information, services, uninterrupted access, or products provided through or in connection with the Service, including without limitation the software licensed to you and the results obtained through the Service. These warranties are hereby excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Virtual Jesus or its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of, or in any way connected with, your access to, display of or use of the Service or with the delay or inability to access, display or use the Service (including, but not limited to, your reliance upon opinions appearing on the Service; any computer viruses, information, software, linked sites, products, and services obtained through the Service; or otherwise arising out of the access to, display of or use of the Service) whether based on a theory of negligence, contract, tort, strict liability, consumer protection, or otherwise, and even if Virtual Jesus or its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, or licensors have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Indemnification: You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Virtual Jesus, its affiliates, officers, employees, agents, partners, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) that such parties may incur as a result of or arising from your (or anyone using your account's) violation of these terms or use of the Service.

General Terms: These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Virtual Jesus regarding the use of the Service. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, such provision shall be struck and the remaining provisions shall be enforced. Virtual Jesus's failure to enforce any right or provision in these terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision unless acknowledged and agreed to by us in writing. In the event of any conflict between these terms and any applicable purchase or other terms, the terms of this agreement shall govern.

Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms or the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association. Any such controversy or claim shall be arbitrated on an individual basis and shall not be consolidated in any arbitration with any claim or controversy of any other party.

Governing Law: These terms and your use of the Service are governed under the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms: Virtual Jesus reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or replace these terms at any time. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
